Virksomhetens mål er å hindre etablering av et mottak av farlig avfall, behandling og deponering av dette i Dalen gruver, i Brevik. Videre vil VOG styrke folks fokus på sirkulærøkonomi, slik at avfall i fremtiden behandles der det oppstår og i størst mulig grad resirkuleres. Virksomheten utøves fra Brevik,- men kan ha støttespillere i hele landet.
